Feature Request: Categorization for Activities, Full Workouts, and Grease the Groove (GtG)
Separate "Activities" from "Full Workouts" Currently, passive single-exercise entries like casual walking, swimming, or auto-synced Health Connect data (e.g., Oura/Garmin walks) are cluttering the main feed/leaderboard right alongside dedicated strength training sessions. The Problem: A 15-minute walk shows up as a single-exercise session in the feed, which distorts the distinction between a focused workout and general daily activity. The Solution: Create a clear separation/filter between Activities (cardio, walks, passive logs) and Full Workouts (focused calisthenics/strength training sessions). Dedicated Support / Mode for "Grease the Groove" (GtG) Advanced calisthenics athletes heavily rely on GtG training spread across an entire day, but the current session UI isn't optimized for this programming style. UI Friction: Logging a set every hour currently requires repeatedly tapping "Continue session", entering reps, and tapping "Finish session". Metrics Inaccuracy: Standard session metrics—like total workout duration—make little sense when spread over a 12-hour period. The Solution: Either add a dedicated GtG Category or a "Day-Long Logging Mode" where sets can be quick-logged throughout the day without managing a single continuous timer or opening/closing formal sessions. To make tracking cleaner and more intuitive, I suggest categorizing training into three distinct buckets: Activities: Passive/cardio entries (walking, swimming, Health Connect syncs). Full Workouts: The current structured, time-bound strength and skill sessions. GtG Sessions: Flexible, low-friction daily set logging tailored for high-frequency skill practice.
