Adaptive progression schemes

Apologies if this is already covered elsewhere. I did a search and didn’t see anything close to what I’m thinking.
I’d love to see a wider variety of progression schemes, based on performance and feedback, incorporated into the app.
For example, if someone is a novice, they can typically make progress (with calisthenics this is usually adding reps) from session to session. But if they are an intermediate, progress will be slower (it may take a week to a month to add reps/weight).
It would be great if the app could identify someone’s training status based on how quickly they are able to progress, and then make intelligent progression/periodization decisions for them.
Let’s say I’m using the free plan and one of my objectives is a one-arm push-up. Each session currently has me performing decline pushups with my feet on an elevated surface. For a few weeks, I’m making steady progress from session to session. Then, for two straight sessions I’m unable to add reps within the number of allotted sets. It would be great if the app could determine, based on my recent ability to make linear progression, that I’m a novice or advanced novice. Based on this history, it recommends a brief backoff in which my goal decline pushups reps are lower for a session (a novice-style deload). Then, it tries to keep me going with linear progression. If I continue to stall with linear progression, the app recognizes this and switches me to a weekly progression scheme, and so on and so forth.
If the app could recognize a user’s training age based on their ability to progress, perhaps it could then recommend appropriate progression schemes and back-off periods.
I’m no app developer, so I understand if this would be too difficult to program. I’m just throwing it out there!
I absolutely LOVE this app and consider it the best option for home/calisthenics-based training. Thanks for all you do, Louis!

This is probably my biggest frustration with the app. Everything else is good to fantastic 🙌

joeyguy Thanks for your suggestion!
The current progression logic is indeed pretty basic and stiff. I think the app will benefit from having flexile progression systems, which take into account user session logs.
There is a discussion here which is related: https://feedback.calistree.com/requests/p/standard-progressions-systems
