Name workout sections
complete

It has been suggested to add custom section to the programs, besides the existing "Warmup", "Workout" and "Cooldown". These custom sections could be for example: “straight arm strength”, “bent arm strength”, “l-sit work”, "skill work", “athleticism”, etc.
The Warmup and Cooldown are much more than section names: they have special logic and algorithms linked to them for program generation and automatic suggestions, so adding custom sections would complicate things a lot and create new issues.
It would be easier to name Supersets, but then the section naming would not be availble unless the exercises happen to be in a superset.

As part of a larger update to improve the edition of the program structure, we're going to allow finer edition of the workout sections, including the creation of custom sections (custom name and color) for organization-maniacs ;-)

Named secions, if ever implemented, should IMHO not affect anything and be just as much useful as a note. Warmup, Main section and Cooldown are enough on their own. Adding section names to main section workouts would be fine for long ass-workouts, but personally I don't see benefits of that except maybe some visual indication.

That would be amazing. When I work/ed with a coach the workout is usually split into a few sections with similar section names as you mentioned. It really helps structure the workouts in the best way possible. However, I don’t think naming supersets worth it. It should be section names similar to warm up and cooldown, just without the algorithm linking to them.

At the moment I create a custom flow to achieve that
Louis Deveseleer
Gerard van Papendrecht: It works, but there are situations where a custom flow would not be the right structure: if you are doing several separated exercises, one set at a time.
But now that I think more about it, users might want to name a workout section that is not a superset, so I'm not sure the whole superset name idea is worth it...
