I would like to be able to tell the app that I have access to these equipments today (as a one-off) with 40 minutes to spare; what exercises could I do? That is to say, as a opposed to setting up a routine over several weeks
My particular use case is that I have access to a hotel gym on sporadic days of the month, and want to be able to find out what I could do on those days.

If you select equipment, it shows you what you can do
Search menu ->equipment -> select +validate
Or Profile menu -> equipment profiles, where you can save them for later
