Swen Kaulfers The voices are device-specific. You should be able to download other voices through your device settings somewhere. I have no idea what is this "Homograph" in your text-to-speech, that might be an issue with your device. What phone do you use?

Louis Deveseleer Just did another workout (different journey). App has been closed and just re-opened. Issue still happened, after about two exercises, the text-to-speech stops reading out the exercise names and just says the reps/timer. I'll try restarting my phone for the next session, but this just started happening after getting the new update.

Found it. There was an unexpected bug in the way multiple speeches are handled and sometimes only the last part was audible. A fix is already being tested and should be available in the next updates. Thanks for your feedback Charles Layman!

I am having issue, during a workout, the TTS timer saying every x second and at mid-point during an exercise stops working.

I can't reproduce, but it seems to be related to when we open an exercise description, TTS starts reading exercise execution instruction, and when we come back to the workout the TTS only work for exercise names.

When the timer TTS stops working, we can't heat the test voice from the menu when clicking the PLAY_BUTTON (Voice: en-us-x-iog-local PLAY_BUTTON)

I hope it does. Sadly the speech experience varies a lot from device to device and from speech engine to speech engine, this changes should improve its performance.

Louis Deveseleer Hi, on my end the text to speech feature that enounce every x seconds and at mid exercise no longer work at all.

EDIT : It works with a 5s announcement period, not with 10s... Wtf.

Another edit : It appears it never works on app launch, one needs to switch duration at least once every time for it to work on my end !

The text to speech of others parts (exercise name and description) seems to work all the time now, not just a bit after app launch as it was the caSe before.

Mathis Gauthey Thanks for the feedback! It seems we've solved the main issue and those are slightly different. We've almost finished working on a series of improvements around speech and audio and I think it will help with those. It should become available in version 5.1.
